Florals for spring? Groundbreaking. The RHS Chelsea Flower Show is one of the highly anticipated fixtures in the gardening calendar, and is regarded one of the world’s greatest celebrations of horticulture and floristry as an art form. This year's event was no exception, and crowds descended on the grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea.
From Dame Joan Collin's muted tone frill jacket, to Mary Berry's pink polka dot shirt dress; beauty guru Trinny Woodall's Devil Wears Prada-esque tassel coat to This Morning chef Clodagh McKenna's striking stripe two-piece, the style seen during the flower show was a celebration of London at its finest.
91-year-old Dame Mary Berry dressed with timeless elegance in mind. Wearing British designer Holland Cooper's Sorrento Shirt Dress, the former Great British Bake Off judge and affectionately known as the Queen of Chelsea beamed a lovely smile when she met designer Jade Holland Cooper.
The womenswear designer said: "Mary has always been such an inspiration to me — so warm, gracious and effortlessly elegant. Every time I see her, I’m reminded why she is so adored by so many. She brings such kindness and wonderful energy wherever she goes, and it was so special to spend time with her today at the Chelsea Flower Show."
