
There is traffic chaos on one of the busiest sections of the M25, with drivers facing 75 minute delays and five miles of congestion. One lane is closed on the M25 QEII Bridge clockwise at the Dartford Crossing.
This has been caused by a broken down vehicle, with recovery vehicles en route. National Highways has warned drivers of delays exceeding an hour and five miles of congestion on approach. Motorway camera footage shows traffic at a complete standstill. National Highways East wrote on X: "The #A282 QEII Bridge southbound at the Dartford Crossing (@DartCharge) has 1 lane closed due to a broken down vehicle. Recovery is en route. There are delays of 75 minutes and 5 miles of congestion on the approach."
