Acting star Beverly Afaglo has passed away just days before turning 43 years old, leaving her husband and other loved ones heartbroken. The Ghanaian actress was due to celebrate her birthday on May 28, and her husband, Eugene Baah, announced her death on social media today.

He penned an emotional tribute to his late wife, which read: "My heart is shattered beyond words. It would have been just like 4 More days to your birthday, but I guess the Lord wanted to celebrate with you, so he called you. You were my strength, My Happiness, and the reason my life felt Complete. My Happiness, and the reason my life felt Complete.
Every Moment with you was a blessing I will Cherish Forever! I am hearing your voice right now, cheering me up as always, my Number one fan!!"

He added: "I promise to take care of everything we planned and started!! Until my last breath, you will remain in My Heart Forever!!! Sleep well, my babe!!!"

Fans have rushed to comment on the sad news, with one writing: "May the Lord be your comforter. My condolences to you."

Another said: "Goodness gracious! That's so terrible. My condolences to you and the family." Meanwhile, a third penned: "Rest easy, beautiful. May God wrap His arms of comfort around the grieving family."
