The Royal Family has always been a hot topic on the big screen, whether through exclusive insights into the royal household or through delving into their rich history in various period dramas. But until 2018, no members of the British family had intentionally worked as actors in front of the cameras. That all changed when Prince Harry tied the knot with Meghan, who gave up her career in Hollywood to marry the Duke of Sussex.

Since she became a royal, the former Suits star has struggled to stay away from the small screen. The actress has made several notable TV appearances over the years, including her highly anticipated interview with Oprah, and regularly talks with the press at public events before stepping back as a senior royal.

In 2025, she stepped things up a notch when she launched her lifestyle show, With Love, Meghan and accompanying brand As Ever with Netflix back in 2025. Most recently, she has appeared on MasterChef Australia during her business trip Down Under in April.

The couple have also launched a production company, Archewell Productions, which they founded in 2020. It is dedicated to creating scripted and non-scripted TV, documentaries and films and is based in the heart of Beverley Hills. Meanwhile, back in the British Isles, Sarah Ferguson has also been a familiar face on the small screen.

Before her husband's scandal, Fergie was a regular guest star on the Loose Women, where she spoke out about her breast cancer diagnosis and regularly gave an insight into life in the royal family. She has also appeared on This Morning as a guest speaker and made a cameo on Friends in the 1990s.

Similarly, her disgraced ex-husband, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, made a single famous TV appearance, which contributed to his downfall. He was famously interviewed by Emily Maitlis at Buckingham Palace in November 2019, just as the Jeffrey Epstein scandal began to unfold on the world stage.
