Lidl has confirmed the name of its first-ever pub, which is set to open in June. The Middle Ale is set for its grand opening at the supermarket's existing Dundonald store in Co Down, Northern Ireland, next month.
Punters can expect to enjoy the retailer’s award-winning range of quality wines, beers, and spirits. As part of the £500,000 investment in the town, new bar manager, bar duty manager, and off-sales attendant roles have also been created.
The existing 27 employees working at the Dundonald store will also keep their jobs, and are expected to be joined by eight new permanent staff members.
