Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has now moved to Marsh Farm in Norfolk where he will stay after leaving his home at Royal Lodge. The former-prince’s latest scandals have seen him be banished to the countryside where royal experts say he is entirely alone. On The Sun’s Royal Exclusive podcast, experts call Andrew "arrogant".
Charles Rae, former royal reporter, says: “He makes no friends, not even in his own family does he make any friends.” Bronte Coy adds: “He left it right until the end” to move into his new home and she says that decision “feels like classic Andrew”. Andrew was arrested in February, on his 66th birthday, on suspicion of misconduct in public office following allegations he shared sensitive information with Epstein during his time as the UK’s trade envoy.
He was stripped by the King of both his right to be a prince and his dukedom late last year over his association with Epstein.
Last week investigating authorities said they will consider allegations of sexual misconduct in its inquiry into potential misconduct in public office. Andrew has consistently and strenuously denied any wrongdoing.
Andrew’s brother, King Charles, has taken action against Andrew by stripping him of his titles.
When Andrew was arrested in February, Buckingham Palace released a statement which read: "I have learned with the deepest concern the news about Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and suspicion of misconduct in public office.
"What now follows is the full, fair and proper process by which this issue is investigated in the appropriate manner and by the appropriate authorities.
"In this, as I have said before, they have our full and wholehearted support and co-operation. Let me state clearly: the law must take its course.
"As this process continues, it would not be right for me to comment further on this matter. Meanwhile, my family and I will continue in our duty and service to you all. Charles R."
Andrew lived with his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson for years after their divorce, but when the couple were forced to leave Royal Lodge, the two went their separate ways.
At Easter, Andrew was visited by Prince Edward and Duchess Sophie.
