Iran's armed forces have issued a new threat to launch fresh attacks on Israel in retaliation for strikes in Lebanon on Monday. The warning was issued by the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters after Benjamin Netanyahu threatened strikes on Beirut and the southern suburb of Dahiyeh and called on residents to evacuate.
The commander of the headquarters urged residents of northern Israel and military settlements in the occupied territories to leave the area if the threatened attacks were carried out, saying the warning was prompted by what he described as Israel's repeated violations of ceasefire agreements.
