A man claims he encountered two individuals from the future after dying several times following a fall at home where he struck his head, and insists they foretold his destiny. Landon Dennis tumbled backwards from his kitchen counter and "smashed" his head on the tiled floor, yet says he experienced nothing but tranquillity.
Landon maintains he was deceased, but the 37-year-old's soul remained 'very much alive' and embarked on a journey through space and time to another dimension. While there, he was met by his grandfather and niece, who had died years earlier, and communicated telepathically with two entities whom he believes originate from the future.
They instructed him to watch for two events – which subsequently materialised. "All of a sudden I was somewhere else," said the peer support specialist.
"I was in a field of grass. Any horrible feelings were gone. It was wonderful – the grass loved me – which sounds crazy.
"But no matter how far away I was, I could focus on every single blade of grass. Then a large hill shaped like a rainbow appeared before me, with bright lights rising from behind it. One of those lights was my grandpa.
"I knew it was him, because I could feel his energy. The other light was my niece. It was a purplish light; her favourite colour. I realised the lights were prayers from those who were no longer alive on Earth – but alive in this other realm."
Landon, who was battling addiction at the time, had suffered an overdose after taking heroin and methamphetamine. He was discovered lying in a pool of blood by his ex-wife following a fall from the kitchen worktop. Emergency services were summoned and he was transported to hospital.
During the ambulance journey, however, he experienced being "outside" of his physical form. He said: "I was looking down on myself. There was a group of guys working on me at such a fast pace I could see my body lying there.
"I had flatlined at this point – and then a couple more times as they kept trying to bring me back. People were drilling to my knee to get emergency IV access. But I felt no physical pain. I didn't realise that I was actually dead."
He claims he was then taken to the afterlife, and as he attempted to approach his loved ones, Landon says he was intercepted by two beings.
The first was a young woman, who seemed to be in her late 20s or early 30s. The second was a man with no distinguishing characteristics. Landon, from Utah, US, sensed he was connected to them, though he believes they weren't forebears – but, rather, future relatives.
He said: "I felt this presence to my right. I didn't see the woman at first; but I felt her. She was so beautiful. It was almost like she knew how intense everything was for me.

"When they spoke, it was telepathic. It enveloped all senses. If she said the words: 'I love you' I felt every loving emotion she had. When she said: 'fire' I felt the warmth.
"I could smell the burning, hear the crackling and see the glow. I know I'm related to these two people, but I don't know how. It still haunts me to this day."
Landon was then surrounded by dark specks rushing towards him. He claims they appeared like demons or sinister entities. However, they were actually prayers – from his family on the other side and in this world – streaming out from behind the hill where his relatives were shining.
Landon was subsequently returned to his physical body; though not without two warnings. He said: "I don't want to go into the details But I was warned to look out for two things that would happen. One of them has, the second hasn't yet.
"I felt a tsunami of love wrap around me as I was blasted back into my own body. As soon as I left, all these horrible feelings came flooding back."

Landon, who was undergoing brain surgery, awoke to find his family gathered around him. He claims the dark specks materialised once more and flew out of the room.
Medical staff feared he wouldn't survive the following 24 hours, and, if he did, he would suffer brain damage due to the seriousness of his injuries. Defying expectations, he's recovered and is performing better now than prior to the incident in September 2022.
He wishes to relay his account in an effort to console those experiencing grief or addiction. Landon added: "The one thing I can tell you I know for sure is that there is life after death. What we do matters. If you're missing a family member, you will see them again.
"I don't know how someone can experience something like I did and have it not profoundly change their life. It's an experience I'm very grateful to have had. But at the same time, it was not fun to gain all this knowledge."
