Jeremy Clarkson revealed he had been diagnosed with prostate cancer in the penultimate episode of Clarkson's Farm. The moment was filmed in June last year, with the presenter turned farmer telling his co-stars Kaleb Cooper and Charlie Ireland about his diagnosis.

Jeremy, 66, explained he had known for a little while following a medical in May before undergoing a biopsy. Kaleb was overcome with emotion as the stunned farmhand was in tears as the former Top Gear star shared the sad news: “I’ve got cancer.”​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Toward the end of the episode, Jeremy reflected on the tough year he has faced, starting with heart issues to a cancer diagnosis. Speaking from his hospital bed, he said: “So we started season five with me in a hospital bed and we are at the end of season five and I’m back in a hospital bed. Some of the treatment has gone awry, let’s say, I'm going to be here for a little while. I'm nil by mouth, I dont know whats going to happen.”

The Clarkson's Farm star addressed the show's future was dependent upon the outcome of his treatment and in a devastating five word admission, said, 'if it isn't, I won't."

During the emotional watch, Jeremy concluded: "If this is all successful I’ll see you for season six and if it isn’t I won’t. Take care everyone.”

Fans have flooded social media as they offered words of encouragement and support to the former Grand Tour presenter.

One wrote: "It's really emotional to see the way he told about his illness. Wish him all the best."

Another remarked: "I'm truly sorry to hear this news Jezza, but we're all rooting for you , knowing you'll pull through this, see you in season 6."

"Absolutely hoping for the best for Jeremy, no one deserves to go through this," a third penned.

A fourth added: "All the best @JeremyClarkson!! Wishing you a speedy recovery."

The former Top Gear presenter did not clarify what stage of cancer he had been diagnosed with, but described it as "aggressive" and that a portion of his prostate had been removed as part of his treatment.

The Grand Tour presenter's health has been a theme of the fifth series of the programme, which opened with Clarkson discussing a heart procedure he had undergone in October 2024.

At the time, he wrote in his column for the Sunday Times that "of the arteries feeding my heart with nourishing blood, one was completely blocked and the second of three was heading that way."

He was later fitted with a stent, which is a tube that is inserted into a narrowed or blocked artery to open it and allow blood to flow more freely.

He also currently presents ITV quiz show Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.
