Piers Morgan took to Instagram with an urgent plea just hours after Jeremy Clarkson revealed his devastating cancer diagnosis. The heartbreaking health update was confirmed in the latest episode of Clarkson's Farm, released on Wednesday (June 17), in which Jeremy could be seen informing series regulars Kaleb Cooper and Charlie Ireland of his diagnosis, both of whom were visibly shocked. While the type of cancer remains unknown, the presenter described it as "aggressive" and revealed that a portion of his prostate had been removed as part of his treatment.
As the news circulated, viewers were moved to share their well-wishes on social media. Piers was among them, as posted a photo of himself with Jeremy, all smiles at an event. The post was captioned: "I was surprised when Jeremy Clarkson texted me on Boxing Day, a few days after this pic was taken, to say how much he liked my @paddypowerofficial ad urging men to get tested for prostate cancer. Now I understand."
Issuing an urgent plea to his followers, the broadcaster continued: "I wish my old sparring partner all the best with his treatment. Guys, have a PSA test; it may save your life."
During the emotional scene, Jeremy told his co-stars and farming colleagues: "I disappeared off the other week, and I had a biopsy, and it is cancer, and it's aggressive, but it's really early."
While the filming time remains unclear, the fifth series was in production during 2025 and 2026, as the TV added that he had known "since May".
As Charlie and Kaleb were visibly moved by the news, Jeremy reassured them: "I promise I'll be fine," adding that he would be out of action "for a little while".
The farm manager told the Top Gear icon to "look after yourself", while Charlie echoed: "I wish you a very speedy recovery."
Later, Jeremy shared that the show's future was dependent upon the outcome of his treatment and in a devastating five-word admission, saying: "If it isn't, I won't."
The 66-year-old concluded: "If this is all successful, I’ll see you for season six, and if it isn’t, I won’t. Take care, everyone.”
Ahead of the release of the final two episodes, Jeremy shared a video on his Instagram, warning fans that they would be a "difficult watch".
"Sombre news – Clarkson's Farm, ordinarily we try to keep the show bucolic and charming, and cheerful, but two episodes which drop in the middle of the night tonight are, they're none of those things, really," he penned.
