Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will meet King Charles when they return to the UK next month, according to reports. It comes after questions were asked about whether the Duke and Duchess of Sussex would have the opportunity to meet the monarch.
The Sun claims there is “an agreement” that the monarch will meet Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, whom he has not seen in person since they last visited the UK in June 2022 for Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee.
The couple are travelling over from the US to attend the Invictus Games' One Year to Go event in Birmingham, marking the first time the Duchess has visited the UK since 2022.
Following Harry’s security fears, it is understood they may even stay in Buckingham Palace - with an insider telling the paper that it is the “safest building in Britain”. This is despite the fact that Harry was offered a stay at the Palace during a previous return to the UK, but declined the offer as he felt it was not secure enough.
