Clarkson's Farm star Charlie Ireland has revealed intimate details about his private life away from the cameras.
Known as "Cheerful Charlie" for often delivering bad news to Jeremy Clarkson, the agricultural expert has become a firm fan favourite on the Prime Video series. In the latest series, he had to break disappointing news about Diddly Squat Farm making its first loss due to poor weather and lacklustre crops.
The private star has been with his partner Catherine for around 22 years after they reconnected in London following their university days. Addressing their decision not to marry, Charlie told The Telegraph: "It's never been on either of our agendas."
The couple have two teenage sons together and left London about a decade ago. Charlie admits he will "soon struggle to come to terms with the fact his sons are faster, stronger and hit a cricket ball further than he can."
Charlie has been working with the former Top Gear presenter since 2009, long before the show launched in 2021. He also runs farming consultancy firm Ceres Rural alongside his television work.
The star is also an ambassador for the Motor Neurone Disease Association after losing his father Christopher to the condition in 2011 aged just 67.
