Prime Video series Clarkson’s Farm Season 5 has got audiences talking after Jeremy Clarkson confirmed his devastating prostate cancer diagnosis to Kaleb Cooper and Charlie Ireland. Jeremy departed Diddly Squat Farm temporarily to undergo treatment, which he later revealed had gone “awry”. However, Jeremy has since confirmed that he was now in remission from prostate cancer.
Along with Jeremy’s health ordeal, the appearance of bird activist and conservationist Hannah Bourne-Taylor also left many Clarkson’s Farm fans keen to know more about her. Hannah is married to former Olympian rower and British Army officer Robin Bourne-Taylor. The couple wed in 2015 and Hannah previously posted on X (formerly Twitter) on their 10th anniversary.
She wrote on the site: “First bird of my day: a starling dashing across the grey sky, dedicated to my husband who, 10 years ago today, married me. Of course, he is called…Robin! #FirstBirdOfMyDay #WhatsYours.” Robin served in the armed forces between 2003 and 2011 and was deployed to Afghanistan, later honoured with the Conspicuous Gallantry Cross for his service.
His military career ended in 2010 when he departed the army and became part of the Regular Army Reserve of Officers the following year. In terms of his rowing career, Robin competed at the 2004 Athens Olympics and then again at the 2008 Beijing Games. He won bronze meals at the 2003 Milan and 2007 Munich World Championships.
Robin is now a professional speaker and gives talks on his extraordinary dual careers both on the frontline and within the sporting world. The couple lived across the globe between 2013 and 2021, spending a stint in rural Ghana where Hannah discovered her passion for bird conservation. The couple now live in Oxfordshire with their two rescue dogs.
