Piers Morgan has taken aim at Prince Harry after the latest bombshell regarding the Duke of Sussex. Prince Harry, 41, is set to return to the UK next month to mark the one-year countdown event for the 2027 Invictus Games, and was expected to be joined by his wife Meghan Markle, 44, and their two children, Prince Archie, seven, and five-year-old Princess Lilibet.

The Sussexes were likely to reunite with King Charles, who even offered them a place to stay in a royal residence. However, it has now been reported that Harry is considering not bringing his family with him, after his plea for taxpayer-funded UK security was declined. Taking to his X account, Piers has now slammed Harry for "throwing yet another tantrum", despite completing "zero royal duties" while trashing his family.

The presenter wrote: "Awwww, the Ginger Whinger is throwing yet another tantrum because he wants the British taxpayer to pay for his security despite doing zero royal duties and trashing his family for gazillions of dollars. Anyone have a tiny violin?"

The Sun previously revealed that the Royal and VIP Executive Committee (RAVEC) has turned down requests for protection just weeks before the family is due to arrive in Britain.

A source said: "Harry is reassessing things. Ultimately, he is going to do everything he can to find a way to bring them over safely."

Responding to the original report, Piers said: "Good. Why the hell should we pay for his security?"

Speaking on his TalkTV show, Kevin O'Sullivan revealed: "Any get-togethers with Charles will unfold behind closed doors and there is even talk that before their audience with his majesty, the Sussexes will be ordered to hand in their phones and all recording devices are strictly banned.

"Queen Camilla doesn't trust the gruesome twosome one bit and wants to ensure there are no leaks to the media."

It has also been reported that Queen Camilla will be steering well clear of the couple when they return to the UK.

Speaking on the Daily Expresso podcast, Daily Express columnist Carole Malone said: "Camilla is not going to be around when they [the Sussexes] arrive. I don’t blame her, because Harry slagged her off big time."
