Drivers on the M60 are facing traffic chaos this evening following a crash. Emergency services have rushed to the scene of the collision on the clockwise carriageway in Greater Manchester.
Traffic has been stopped on the stretch of the motorway between junction 16 Clifton and junction 17 Prestwich. Drivers have been warned they face delays. Vehicle recovery clear up works are underway. National Highways North West wrote on X: "Traffic stopped on the #M60 in #GreaterManchester clockwise between J16 #Clifton & J17 #Prestwich due to a collision. Vehicle recovery and clear up works are underway. Currently delays of 20 minutes with 2 miles of congestion on approach."
