The Mirror reports that King Charles has instructed his aides to try and secure a time in his diary that suits Harry and Meghan, who is not currently in the UK, for a meeting, with the monarch reportedly hopeful this could also see him meet Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet for the first time since 2022.
Although Meghan, Archie and Lilibet are not currently in the UK, it is reported that Harry could be planning to fly them over for a brief visit.
A royal source told the Mirror: “While nothing has been ruled out, conversations remain ongoing.”
They continued: “The King would not pass up the opportunity to spend time with his grandchildren, and if there is a way of making it possible, he will do it.”
While the monarch last saw Harry in September, he has not seen Meghan, Archie and Lilibet since 2022.
It is believed he has always been keen to have a relationship with his grandchildren, Archie, seven, and Lilibet, five, but the physical distance with them living in America has made this difficult.
Harry has also not brought his children to the UK for years due to security concerns.
