Prince Harry, 41, and Meghan Markle, 44, made their first joint trip to the UK since 2022, bringing their two children with them. The visit marks the first time in over four years that the King, 77, has come face-to-face with his grandchildren Archie, 7, and Lilibet, 5.

Buckingham Palace confirmed on Friday evening that King Charles and Queen Camilla, 78, had welcomed the family at Highgrove House earlier that day.

While Prince Harry and his family were at Highgrove, his brother, the Prince of Wales, was taking part in a charity polo match in Windsor.

Relations between the two brothers remain tense, with sources suggesting William had no desire to meet with Harry and Meghan during their UK stay.

The Sussexes visited Charles and Camilla at Highgrove alongside Archie and Lilibet, though no photographs were released publicly. Royal insiders reportedly stressed that the gathering was simply a grandfather enjoying time with his grandchildren, according to the Express.

TalkTV presenter Jeremy Kyle discussed the family get-together as guest Andrew Lownie made a startling revelation.

The host enquired, "What do you think William would have made of the visit Andrew?"

In just a single word, the royal author claimed the future king was "appalled" by the family visit. "I think he feels his father is weak," Andrew observed.

"The only way to deal with Meghan, particularly, is to be tough," he added.

"William wants to keep out of this," he continued.

Andrew suggested the Prince of Wales can be "quite stubborn.

"I think he feels quite betrayed, particularly about the way Harry's spoken about Catherine," the royal author told the presenter. "So, I don't see any rapprochement there."

Buckingham Palace described the gathering at the King's private residence in Gloucestershire as a "private family occasion."
