Fortnite Deadpool and Wolverine skins release date, time and item shop prices | Gaming | Entertainment

Fortnite fans are eagerly awaiting the next shop update, which will bring a couple of highly sought after skins and items to the game. To celebrate the release of Marvel’s Deadpool & Wolverine movie, Epic Games will bring the characters to Fortnite… again. Unlike the previous release, the new Deadpool and Wolverine skins will have more of a cartoon look. The cel-shaded Wolverine and Deadpool skins have been given a July 26 release date in the US and a July 27 launch date in the UK. The items will be available when the shop refreshes at around 1am BST UK time on July 27.

According to Fortnite insider Hypex, the individual skins will cost 2,000 V-Bucks each. The pack will contain the character skin, plus Backbling, Pickaxe, Emote and Wrap.

A Wolverine and Deadpool bundle, which contains both skins and the aforementioned items, will be available for the discounted price of 3,600 V-Bucks.

In addition to the new skins, fans will also be able to purchase Deadpool and Wolverine gliders, which cost 800 V-bucks each.

The gliders are hot air balloons decked out to look like Wolverine or Deadpool. The Deadpool one also has an arrow through the head.

Unfortunately, it looks like the Deadpool skin won’t have a LEGO variant. Hopefully the Woverine version does.

You can take a look at the new Wolverine and Deadpool items below.

The items launch just a few days after the release of the latest major Fortnite update.

Fortnite update 30.30 added Tesla’s unique Cybertruck to the game, as well as a range of Adidas items.

Available from the item shop now, the Adidas streetwear range features a ton of customisation options.

There was also a Fall Guys crossover, which added an obsctale course to the Battle Royale map, complete with lots of loot.
