Meghan Markle shows she’s ‘out of her depth’ with gesture | Royal | News

Meghan Markle displayed feelings of “nervousness” but was able to “push through” as Prince Harry showed signs of “frustration” in their latest interview appearance, a body language expert has revealed.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex filmed a sit-down interview with Jane Pauley for CBS Sunday Morning, airing on Sunday.

Body language expert Darren Stanton has commented on a new clip shared of the interview.

He said it was clear that Meghan showed signs she was “out of her depth” at times during the clip.

“When Harry is speaking and holding court, taking away the attention from Meghan, we saw her biting her lip,” he said.

The body language explained: “This is a giveaway of how Meghan, despite appearing confident, was feeling nervous internally.

“It’s a key self-reassurance sign she displays when feeling uncertain or lacking in confidence despite externally portraying the opposite.

“While her eye contact did decrease throughout the interview, she did maintain a strong hold for the most part – and it exemplifies how she is able to adopt strength and push through even when she is feeling slightly out of her depth.”

Speaking to host Jane Pauley in a new interview for CBS News, Meghan and Harry discussed cyber abuse – and expressed how they wish to do everything they can to protect their two young children.

In the new interview, Meghan discussed online safety and their own experience with Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3.

She said: “Our kids are young, they’re three and five, they’re amazing, but all you want to do as parents is protect them. And so as we can see what’s happening in the online space, we know that there’s a lot of work to be done there and we’re just happy to be able to be a part of change for good.”

This comes after Harry’s appearance as part of an ITV documentary ‘Tabloids on Trail’.

During this interview, which aired last week, the father of two discussed his fears about his family’s safety in the UK.
