Meghan Markle gave a heartfelt speech about online safety at a panel discussion on Day 1 of her and Prince Harry’s trip to Colombia.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex participated in the Responsible Digital Future Summit which was hosted by The Archewell Foundation, in partnership with The Office of the Vice President of Colombia and Luminate.
The event aimed to bring together a diverse group of thought leaders, experts, activists, and community members who are united by a shared vision of fostering a healthier and more ethical digital landscape.

The Duchess has long campaigned for online safety and has previously talked about online abuse and online bullying, with the couple most recently launching The Parents’ Network, which aims to tackle child safety online and connect families who have lost their children to suicide due to a lack of safeguarding online.
