A large Christmas tree has appeared in a town centre – on a sunny August day.
The festive tree sprang up in Bromley, south-east London today as temperatures topped 20 degrees.
December 25 is still 118 days away.
Shoppers were left baffled – with one saying: “What’s that doing up this time of year? It’s so early.”
Another added: “Completely ridiculous…”
However, it’s not quite Christmas come early.
The local council said the tree is there as a prop for filming being done.
Scenes for Pillion, starring Alexander Skarsgard and Harry Melling, are being shot in Bromley on Thursday and Friday evening, according to the Telegraph.
The tree is located at the top of the town’s high street, outside a large Primark store.
