Queen Letizia has some serious style and gives other royals such as Princess Kate and Meghan Markle a run for their money. Recently she stunned in an extremely flattering black number that has left royal fans in a frenzy.
The Spanish Queen attended the season opening of the Royal Theatre in Madrid, attending with her husband King Felipe, 56, and wearing a gorgeous black dress.
The mum-of-two opted for a black midi frock from the 2018 H&M Conscious Collection and kept to the recycling nature of the dress, having first worn it at an awards ceremony in Girona last year.
She paired the dress with an Alice Metalic Gold Clutch from Magrit Shoes (another repeated item), wearing it with Aquazzura Sundance 50 gold leather sandals – another favoured item.
Despite being Spanish royalty, Queen Letizia went for the affordable H&M frock, which retails for £119. Her shoes, however, come with a more royal price, at £566.
Fans couldn’t get enough of the look. One person wrote: “This is a silhouette that Queen Letizia wears so well. This dress is beautiful.”
Another wrote: “She looks amazing! She’s wearing a reasonably priced dress which looks as good as outrageously priced dresses.”
A third added: “Magnificent, chic and elegant for Queen Letizia.”
Others called the Spanish royalty “beautiful”, “stunning” and “chic”.
The entire look worn by Queen Letizia has been reworn, with the royal also wearing the H&M dress back in 2023. In doing so, the Queen is staying true to her sustainability interests.
Last week, Queen Letizia presided over an environmental awards ceremony in Madrid, donning a belted denim dress.
The 52-year-old, who celebrated her birthday last week, presenting the Retina Eco awards, now in their fourth year, at the Spanish capital’s Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía.
