Amazon Prime sale saves £65 on Ninja’s StaySharp knife block

Whether you’re an experienced cook or are just looking to make meal prep a little bit easier, the tools you use can have a huge impact. That’s why a proper set of knives can be a game changer – but they don’t often come cheap.

However, this Prime Day deal on the Ninja Foodi StaySharp Knife Block reduces it from £169.99 to £104.99. This five-tool set features a chef knife, bread knife, slicing knife, utility knife, and paring knife alongside a built-in StaySharp sharpener, covering every base with razor-sharpness.

Cut from German steel and set into double-riveted handles, these knives are rust-proof and have been designed for comfort over sustained use. The StaySharp sharpener massively simplifies the sharpening process, too. All you need to do is insert the knife, pull up on the lever, and you’ll quickly have a well-sharpened blade with little to no risk of cutting yourself.

In typical fashion for such a quality-oriented brand, Ninja offers a 10-year guarantee on the set. It’s safe to say they’ll last a long time, and there’ll never be an excuse for dullness.

With 4.8 stars from 1,764 Amazon reviews, this knife set is a winner in just about every kitchen. One five-star review says: “Love my knives. They are so sharp and make food preparation a breeze. They’re not cheap, however, they feel great quality and are well balanced.”

Another user is a big fan of the integrated StaySharp sharpener: “I love the built-in sharpener. No more struggling with separate sharpeners or worrying about maintaining the perfect angle.

“A few quick swipes through the sharpener integrated into the block keep these knives performing like new for longer.” Another said: “These knives should last for years and I have no hesitation in recommending them if you need to upgrade your knife collection.”

However, one reviewer said the knives are “nothing special”. While another user has had trouble with keeping them in pristine condition: “I have tried washing and rubbing with a micro fibre cloth but still item looks blotchy. Won’t stop performance of knives but not pleasant to look at for such an expensive item.”

Elsewhere, if you wanted a more traditional-looking wooden product, Jean Patrique’s Self Sharpening 5 Piece Knife Block should do the trick at £129.99. For a modern look, ProCook’s Professional X50 Contour Knife Set costs £119.20 (down from £149), but that doesn’t come with an integrated sharpener.
