King Charles and Queen Camilla beam in heartwarming photo | Royal | News

King Charles and Queen Camilla were seen beaming in a new photo released on Sunday to mark the end of their week-long royal tour.

Charles and Camilla had been on tour since last week and made several appearances in what has been their first trip Down Under following the King’s accession to the throne.

The royal couple first travelled to Australia and then headed to Samoa, where they visited a beach at its capital Apia.

In a new snap released to mark the end of their tour, the monarch can be seen beaming while lovingly looking at his wife, with his arm wrapped around her.

Charles wore a beige suit with a matching tie and handkerchief, which he paired with a light shirt underneath and black shoes.

Meanwhile, Camilla donned a white linen tunic top featuring blue details and wide-leg trousers as well as white flat shoes.

She also sported her signature hairstyle, a pair of drop earrings and a glittering necklace.

Charles and Camilla left Samoa on Saturday on a Royal Australian Air Force jet after making a final stop at Siumu Village for a farewell ceremony, where they were met with the same rainy conditions that welcomed them in Sydney eight days prior.

To mark the end of the royal tour, Their Majesties took to social media to post a heartwarming message.

Their statement on X said: “As our visits to Australia and Samoa come to a close, my wife and I would like to thank both nations for the warmest of welcomes and for the countless fond memories we will carry in our hearts for many years to come.

“Even when we are far apart in distance, the many close connections that unite us across the globe and through our Commonwealth family have been renewed, and will remain as profound as they are enduring.”

Buckingham Palace had released three other portraits of the King and Queen in Samoa on Saturday night.
