Sky has launched its Black Friday sale, with shoppers able to save hundreds on TV packages, broadband and mobile plans. The sale is live now with big discounts on Sky TV, Sky Glass and superfast Sky Broadband.

Bargain hunters can bag an enticing £168 discount on a TV and Netflix bundle, or get 150Mbps broadband for its ‘lowest ever price’. Those in the market for a new smartphone can also save with new devices from Apple, Samsung and Google, which can be paired with Sky Mobile’s discounted data plans.

Sky has dropped the price of its Ultimate TV Package – that comes with Sky TV and Netflix – to its ‘lowest price’ ever. The plan is now available for £19 a month, down from the usual £26, saving members £168 over the 24-month term.

The package comes with a new Sky Stream box, Sky’s plug-in-and-play device that streams live and on-demand content over WiFi without the need for a satellite dish. It includes the same blockbuster titles as traditional Sky, with more than 100 channels like Sky Atlantic – the home of The Penguin, The Day of the Jackal and Dune: Prophecy – plus a Netflix subscription at no extra cost.

After the 24-months are up, the plan will renew at £31 on a 31-day rolling contract until cancelled. The deal is also available with Sky Glass – Sky’s own 4K UHD smart TV with Sky built in – from £33 a month.

For shoppers looking to upgrade their broadband and enjoy the biggest new series, Sky is offering its packed Sky Stream, Sky TV, Netflix and Full Fibre 150 broadband plan for £38 a month. Usually priced at £39, this includes more than 100 channels with Sky Stream, a Netflix subscription and fibre broadband with average speeds up to 150Mbps.

To make switching providers even easier, Sky has recently introduced its new One Touch Switch process, which eliminates the need for customers to contact their current provider. Sky will now manage the switch on their behalf, as well as offering round the clock support from a real person with its dedicated 24/7 switching service.

If you’re happy with your current TV service, but fancy faster broadband, Sky has also slashed its Full Fibre 150 broadband to its ‘lowest ever price’ of £27 a month on a 24-month plan.

Sky has partnered with Currys to offer a huge saving on a Sky Glass package. Sky Glass usually starts at £14 a month for the 43” model, plus £28 for a Sky TV and Netflix bundle, but Currys customers can now snap it up in one simple subscription from £33.

Sky Glass is Sky’s own UHD Quantum Dot TV with a Dolby Atmos soundbar and Sky TV built in. It comes in three screen sizes ranging from 43” to 65” and a choice of colours including Ocean Blue, Ceramic White and Anthracite Black.

A Sky Glass package includes more than 100 channels and a Netflix subscription with Sky’s Ultimate TV Package, with top channels like Sky Atlantic and Sky Documentaries, plus voice control and personalised recommendations. Sky has also reduced the Sky Glass bundle when buying direct, with shoppers able to bag the Sky Glass and Ultimate TV Package for £33, down from the usual £42.

It’s not all TV and broadband, as Sky has also slashed the price of a range of smartphone and data plans with Sky Mobile’s Black Friday deals. Shoppers can save up to £276 on the new Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra from £38 a month – down from £48 – or save £180 on the Google Pixel 9 Pro from £29 a month – down from £34.

There’s also a £45 saving on the iPhone SE, which is now on offer at £13 a month. Each device comes on a 36-month plan, with members able to upgrade after 24 months at no extra cost.

But with a shiny new phone comes the need for a packed data plan. Luckily, Sky Mobile is offering six months half price on select data plans, saving members £15 a month on the 100GB plan and £8 a month on the 25GB plan.

Sky Mobile also lets you keep any unused data, rolling whatever’s left into a Sky Piggybank each month, ready for whenever you need a data boost. Elsewhere, Virgin Media is also gearing up for its Black Friday sale, with an official date to be confirmed. Once the deals are live, they will be available on the Virgin Media site here.
