Tech influencer predicts what iPhone 17 will be like

The excitement surrounding a new Apple iPhone launch is no joke – and there have been plenty of rumours online about the iPhone 17.

With some reckoning that the new phone will get a complete revamp, some potential buyers are buzzing – while others are saying they’ll “stick” with their current model as they don’t like how it looks.

A render of the iPhone 17 Air, the thinnest iPhone model yet, has allegedly been leaked. It has an all-new camera design.

But whether this is real or not is yet to be determined – as the excitement reaches a fever pitch over what the handset will look like.

The iPhone 17 models are set to be officially released in September, so those keen to get their hands on a new model will have to wait a little while yet. But tech creator @ijustine reckons she knows what the new phone may look like and whether it will be worth your hard-earned money.

Justine Ezarik said: “I’ve been seeing some rumours about the iPhone 17 swirling online, and I finally decided to take a deep dive and, wow.”

She said that the iPhone 17 models “could feature larger display sizes,” along with “ProMotion across the entire line up”.

There may also be an “ultra-thin model,” which has been named online as the iPhone 17 Air. As well as this, a potential “upgraded selfie camera” could be good news for those who love to snap pics of themselves wherever they go.

Justine continued: “They’re reportedly gonna have a 24-megapixel sensor, which will pretty much double that front-facing camera.”

Commenting on the way the iPhone may look, she said it’s “funny” because it “looks a lot like the [Google] Pixel” as the camera is along the top, rather than in a square like it is on iPhones at the minute.

Justine said that she’s always been “such a fan of the way the Pixel looks,” saying that she believes it’s good that iPhones may be getting a “new look” as they “need” it.

“We need something new, and we need something fresh,” she said – but others disagreed.

“I’m saying with my iPhone 14,” someone fumed because they weren’t a fan of the new design. Others said: “I’m still on the 11”.

One woman wrote: “I only just got the 16 a few days ago,” with a crying emoji.

“I like the current design! Why change!” one man raged.

Would you consider the iPhone 17 if it looks different to the older models? Let us know in the comments…
