Celine Dion is one of the most well-regarded singers in the industry, with countless hit songs—but one has claimed the top spot. The singer released her first album in 1981 when she was just 12 years old and has had an incredible career ever since.
She became a household name when she won the Eurovision Song Contest at 20, representing Switzerland with her track ‘Ne Partez Pas Sans Moi’. Celine returned to the stage for the first time since revealing a serious health condition to perform at the Paris Olympics opening ceremony in 2024. She gave an incredible performance on the Eiffel Tower, which was her first time singing live in four years after she revealed a diagnosis of Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS).
According to Smooth Radio, Celine’s best song is “Think Twice.” The hit song topped the charts in the UK and became one of the best-selling records of all time. Despite this, it was not a hit in America, but it did make the charts in many other countries.
It was co-written by King Crimson’s Peter Sinfield and… Bucks Fizz producer Andy Hill!
One of Celine’s most well-known songs is My Heart Will Go On, which is famous for being featured in the Titanic film.
When she was first approached about singing this song, she said she didn’t want to record it as she’d already done film songs before.
“I didn’t want to record it,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “Thank God they didn’t listen to me.”
The song became an important part of the film’s success and helped make the original Titanic soundtrack the best-selling soundtrack in history. It also won Celine her second Oscar.
