Meghan Markle has dominated headlines this week after the release of her new Netflix show “With Love, Meghan”, followed by her TV interview with Drew Barrymore. In the interview, Meghan spoke fondly about her husband Prince Harry, who she married in 2018, and shared some previously unknown insights into their relationship.
Meghan also said that they consciously try to date each other, like in the pre-marriage days. Meghan also revealed that they also make an effort in everyday life. Since quitting royal duty in 2020, the couple has lived together in their Montecito mansion with their two children, Prince Archie, five, and Princess Lilibet, three. However, despite juggling work and parenting, there is one thing they do every day to help them stay connected and in touch with one another.
Speaking on The Drew Barrymore Show, Meghan said she finds time to have lunch with her husband every day despite their busy schedules.
She said, “We love doing school drop-off and pick-up for the kids. Our days are busy with meetings, but we have lunch together every day, that middle-of-the-day catch-up.
“We just make it a point to date each other.”
This is not the first revelation Meghan made about her relationship with Prince Harry this week.
Speaking to People in an exclusive interview, the duchess shared how she enjoys going out on dates with her husband and having fun in Montecito, California.
She said: “We go to a lot of dinners, and not just in people’s homes or private rooms; we just go into the restaurant. I really love that we can just have fun.”
