Pre-orders open for limited edition PS5 Last of Us controller – hurry before they sell out | Gaming | Entertainment

Sony has opened pre-orders for its limited edition Last of Us DualSense controllers for PS5.

Available for £74.99 from the PlayStation Direct website, the new Last of Us DualSense controllers have an April 10 release date.

While the release date isn’t for another month, the controllers are only available in limited quantities, which means they may sell out fast.

You can secure your Last of Us DualSense controller by clicking the PlayStation Direct link below.

The controller features the classic DualSense black and white colour scheme, as well as multiple trophy icons from both games.

This includes a depiction of the Fireflies logo on the touchpad, as well as moth and wolf logos representing Ellie and Abby.

“Escape the Infected with this limited-edition controller,” reads the official description.

“This striking colourway features glossy trophy icons from The Last of Us. From the iconic spray-painted Fireflies logo that first appeared in The Last of Us Part I to the moth and wolf representing the duality of Ellie and Abby in The Last of Us Part II, commemorate the franchise with this controller.”

The controller launches just a few days before the start of the second season of the HBO TV show.

The Last of Us Season 2 makes its debut on April 13 in the US and April 14 in the UK via Sky Atlantic and NOW TV.

Unlike the first season, The Last of Us Season 2 will run for seven episodes instead of nine.

The official synopsis for part two reveals: “Five years after their dangerous journey across the post-pandemic United States, Ellie and Joel have settled down in Jackson, Wyoming.

“Living amongst a thriving community of survivors has allowed them peace and stability, despite the constant threat of the infected and other, more desperate survivors.

“When a violent event disrupts that peace, Ellie embarks on a relentless journey to carry out justice and find closure. As she hunts those responsible one by one, she is confronted with the devastating physical and emotional repercussions of her actions.”
