Meghan Markle “would make waves if she shows up” at the star-studded Oscars tonight, a source has claimed.
Although her attendance has not been confirmed, speculation has circled in the past few days whether Meghan could be in attendance – especially with her own series set to be released in two days time.
Meghan’s new eight-part series, With Love, Meghan, will air on Netflix on March 4 – just weeks after it was postponed due to the devastating LA wildfires.
As reported by the Daily Mail, a source has said: “She [Meghan] would make waves if she shows up tonight and will get global publicity for her series.”
Taking to her Instagram account, @meghan, on January 2, the 43-year-old shared the exciting news that her Netflix show was on its way.
Prior to the delay, Meghan shared the trailer and her excitement ahead of the release.
Alongside she wrote: “I have been so excited to share this with you! I hope you love the show as much as I loved making it… Beyond grateful for the support – and fun! As ever, Meghan.”
The eight episodes of the show – which will be each around 30 minutes long – will all air on Netflix on the same day.
In the short trailer, which was also released on social media by Netflix, Meghan can seen making food in a home kitchen, shopping for flowers, and laughing and eating with friends.
Some of Meghan’s famous friends will also feature in the series – including actress Mindy Kaling, former Suits star Abigail Spencer and photographer Delfina Blaquier.
Although it remains unclear whether Prince Harry will feature, the 40-year-old has appeared in the trailer. The couple’s two children – Prince Archie, five, and Princess Lilibet, three – are not expected to feature in With Love, Meghan.
Meghan shared a new clip from the series on Wednesday – which was later deleted before being re-uploaded. Alongside the clip, Meghan wrote: “Six more days until our show launches on Netflix! Celebrating the crew and everyone who helped make this happen! The countdown begins.”
