GTA 5 Enhanced gets another PC update and fans are definitely going to want to install it | Gaming | Entertainment

Weighing in at around 600MB, the new GTA 5 Enhanced update removes the 120 FPS frame-rate cap for PC.

As long as your display and PC can handle it, this means you can enjoy a super smooth Grand Theft Auto 5 experience at the highest frame-rates.

Indeed, if you’ve been disappointed with the frame-rates on PC until now, then this patch is definitely worth downloading.

The previously released GTA 5 Enhanced update brings the PC version on par with the PS5 and Xbox Series X editions.

As part of the update, Rockstar Games added new Ray-tracing options, improved frame-rates and widescreen support. That’s on top of new vehicles, animal encounters and a whole lot more.

If you haven’t already downloaded and installed the update, then it’s worth pointing out that PC users will need to perform a one-time Character Migration flow to bring over your Story Mode and Online progress.

Once you’ve performed the download, you’ll be greeted with a fresh Landing Page as your starting destination, which will take you straight into the action.

This includes a GTA$4,000,000 windfall for new players, which can be used to “buy property, vehicles, and other items as you start off as an Executive, Gunrunner, Nightclub Owner or Biker in the Career Builder”.

As for the Oscar Guzman DLC, the free update sees players attempt to expand their arms trafficking business after taking over an airstrip.

Rockstar Games explains more: “Take over a historic airstrip to serve as the launchpad and landing zone for a series of new missions, with an accomplished arms trafficker as your wingman.

“Oscar Guzman’s glory days as part of Trevor Philips Enterprises may be behind him, but he can see yours are still dead ahead and has hatched a scheme to make you both rich… unless Eberhard Munitions has got something to say about it.”

In addition to new missions, GTA Online players will be able to unlock new aircraft, including the Western Duster 300-H plane and the Buckingham DH-7 Iron Mule helicopter.
