Aryna Sabalenka shares pic with new boyfriend two months after death of ex | Tennis | Sport

Aryna Sabalenka has gone public with her new rumoured boyfriend after stepping out at the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix together. The two-time Australian Open champion shared a photo with Georgios Frangulis, the CEO of Oakberry.

The acai company sponsors Haas, and Sabalenka and Frangulis were seen in the team garage over the weekend. The world No. 2 is also a brand ambassador for Oakberry.

Their outing comes two months after the death of Sabalenka’s ex, Konstantin Koltsov. Sabalenka and Koltsov were no longer together when he passed away in Miami after falling from his balcony, with police ruling it an “apparent suicide”.

Sabalenka is now rumoured to be dating Frangulis, and she added fuel to the fire this weekend by giving him a shoutout at the Italian Open before sharing a photo of the two of them at Imola. The 26-year-old reached the final in Rome, losing to Iga Swiatek on Saturday.

Frangulis was seen in her player box with the rest of her team. As Sabalenka finished her runner-up speech, the second seed said: “And just like I promised, Georgios, thank you for your support,” making a heart with her hand and blowing him a kiss.

A day later, the pair were spotted hand-in-hand in the Haas garage. The world No. 2 later posted a photo dump from her F1 outing, including a photo with her rumoured boyfriend.

While they have not officially announced their relationship, it’s the first time that Sabalenka and Frangulis have gone public following weeks of speculation over the tennis star’s new boyfriend.

It comes after Koltsov, a professional ice hockey player from Belarus, tragically died in Miami at the age of 42. Russian ice hockey club Salavat Yulaev confirmed the news on March 19. In a statement, they wrote: “It is with deep sorrow that we inform you that the coach of Salavat Yulaev, Konstantin Koltsov, has passed away.”
