Get a free 4K TV from Virgin Media but hurry as deal ends tomorrow

Broadband provider Virgin Media is running a hard-to-believe free 4K TV deal for new customers, but you’ll have to hurry if you want to take advantage as the promotion ends on Sunday 17 March. Customers who sign up for an 18-month TV and broadband bundle on selected Virgin packages can claim either a 43-inch LG 4K TV worth £379.99, or £250 in credit towards contract bills.

It means it’s the perfect time to switch your TV and broadband if you’re fed up with your current provider. You can claim the free telly on four of Virgin’s packages (provided they are available in your area), the cheapest monthly cost of all four being £65.

The TV in question is made by tech heavyweight LG and is a UHD (that’s ultra high definition) 4K screen with an RRP of £379.99. If you are also due a TV upgrade then this is the perfect time to invest and get one free of charge. But you don’t need a new telly, then Virgin will credit your account with £250 – so if you get the £65 per month package, that’s the equivalent of nearly four months for free.

The four bundles that net you this limited time deal are the Biggest Combo Bundle, Bigger Combo + Movies, Bigger Combo + Sports and the Mega Volt Bundle – the latter of which also gets you an O2 5G SIM card, 512Mbps broadband, more than 230 Sky channels, as well as Sky Cinema and Sky Sports, plus a subscription to Netflix.

That costs £85 per month, but even the cheapest £65 bundle gets you Sky Sports with your TV and broadband.

It’s rare to see a TV and broadband bundle like this come with a free TV – of course all broadband deals come with the required Wi-Fi router, but Virgin really has gone one step further by admitting that its customers might want a TV to watch their Virgin TV package on!
