Meet the Scotland WAGs at Euro 2024 including models and NHS worker | Football | Sport

Scotland are hoping to upset the odds with all eyes on them for the opening match of Euro 2024, taking on hosts Germany. The likes of Scott McTominay, Andy Robertson and John McGinn also face battles with Hungary and Switzerland to come, roared on by the wives and girlfriends of the squad.

Models, artists and social media influencers will be supporting Scotland in their bid for Euro 2024 glory, who undoubtedly will be spotted at the Allianz Arena for the tournament’s curtain-raiser on Friday evening.

Rachel Robertson

Tartan Army captain Andy Robertson married his childhood sweetheart Rachel two years ago in Portugal and have two children together, Rocco and Aria.

Rachel has opted to stay away from the public eye after graduating from the University of Glasgow in 2016 with a degree in maths and language, going on to start her own clothing brand OroSport.

Her company, which specialises in leotards and dancewear, came after Rachel worked in the financial sector, but on their wedding day Andy was far from impressed with one of his Liverpool team-mates’ outfit.

“Hendo (Jordan Henderson) looked a million dollars,” he said. “I thought Trent’s (Alexander-Arnold) trousers were too baggy, there was too much gathering at the bottom.”

Laura MacFarlane

Celtic left-back Greg Taylor wed qualified nurse Laura MacFarlane earlier this month after popping the question on a holiday to Greece in 2022.

He proposed to his partner, which he met in high school, having taken her to a love heart made out of candles before getting down on one knee.

They got married in Ibiza and Taylor clearly has a deep level of respect for Laura and her profession. “To be with someone who works in the NHS puts everything else into perspective,” he explained. “I couldn’t be more proud of her.”

Robyn Keen

Model Robyn Keen has been with Scotland defender Jack Hendry since 2018, when he was at Celtic, and is also a clinical psychologist.

The pair are expecting their first child together, with medicine and the sciences a common factor among the 2024 WAGs as Keen has studied psychology, neuroscience and neuroanatomy, the latter at Cambridge University.

Cam Reading

Scott McTominay will be hoping to spearhead Scotland’s Euros bid this summer, cheered on by girlfriend Cam Reading after starting their relationship last year.

Reading is a director at asset management firm Fortress Capital and also a social media influencer, boasting over 30,000 Instagram followers where the model often shares her trips away with McTominay.

Georgie Bell

Bournemouth’s Ryan Christie is far from the only creative spark in his household, as his fiancee Georgie Bell is an accomplished painter and runs her own studio in Poole where work can be commissioned for as much as £2,000 per piece.

She has a degree in Contemporary Art Practice from Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen and the pair got engaged in 2022 when Georgie was reduced to tears.

“I can’t imagine my life without you, and now I don’t have to,” she wrote on Instagram. “I love you beyond words @ryanchristie2.”

Sara Stokes

John McGinn has dated social worker Sara Stokes since his days at St Mirren and while Stokes keeps away from the public eye, her Aston Villa fiancee has hailed his partner since moving down south.

He said: “When she came down here with me she thought, ‘Everyone thinks I am just going to sponge off John, that I’m coming down here for a holiday’.

“So she decided ‘stuff that’ and did three years at uni and she is now a social worker. There are times when I have been so wrapped up in my own little bubble I forget how tough her reality is when she is working with kids who are going through awful times.”
