Prince Andrew downgraded on Royal Family website like Harry and Meghan | Royal | News

Prince Andrew has been quietly downgraded on the Royal Family website, alongside Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

In what will come as a blow to the Duke of York, 64, his profile is no longer on the same section as the “working royals” on the official palace website.

He has suffered the same fate as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who also now have their own section in a different part of the website.

Andrew has been a “non-working royal” after he was made to hand back his patronages in 2022.

It comes after the Duke of York was named in released court documents including flight logs to Epstein’s private island and allegations that Epstein forced a teenage girl to have sex with the Prince multiple times.

Prince Andrew has always vehemenently denied such allegations and settled a claim by Virginia Guiffre in 2022 without admitting wrongdoing.

His bio on the website now reads: “On January 13, 2022, Buckingham Palace announced that, with Queen Elizabeth II’s approval and agreement, The Duke of York’s military affiliations and Royal patronages would be returned to Her late Majesty, and The Duke would not return to public duties.

“Prior to stepping back from public life, The Duke of York undertook a wide range of public work, with a strong economic and business focus.”
