UK homes that want a serious broadband boost might want to take a look at a new plan that’s just been announced by EE. The BT-owned brand is now offering an option called “Broadband Made for Gamers” which does exactly what it says on the tin. Those signing up for this service will get access to blisteringly quick 1.6Gbps downloads (where available) along with a new EE Smart Hub Plus router which features a unique Game Mode.
This clever internet tech allows users to boost their home connectivity by prioritising their online gaming traffic for an optimal experience – it even works in conjunction with many of the latest online gaming sites.
Another bonus of EE’s Broadband Made for Gamers plan is that it includes 24 months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate allowing customers to access hundreds of titles without paying a penny extra.
For those not in the know, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, which usually costs £12.99 per month, lets Xbox users download and play a swathe of games such as Forza 5, FC24, Minecraft, Rainbow Siege and Among Us.

Sadly, it’s not cheap with EE confirming that those wanting to sign up will need to fork out £79.99 per month (currently dropped to £74.99 for a limited time) for the privilege.
