She may be tiny, but she’s been topping the charts for a whopping 37 years across five decades. No wonder we can’t get Kylie Minogue outta our heads.
The Aussie megastar will be making all our hearts go Padam Padam (that’s our last song title gag… maybe) this Saturday night as she headlines the main Great Oak Stage at American Express presents BST Hyde Park.
Her first support act Altego kicks off just after 3pm, and there are also two other smaller stages within the festival grounds, as well as the Amex Experience, which is separate from the main Amex ticket holders enclosure.
We have all the stage times below, as well as maps and everything you need to know about bringing in bags, umbrellas, water bottles, seats and more.
GREAT OAK STAGE performance times:
Saturday kicks off with the DJ twins Altego from 15:15-15:45, followed by former X Factor star Ella Henderson from 16:15-16:55, and Brazilian megastar Anitta (who has 65 million Instagram followers) from 17:25-18:10. The main support act is Welsh star Marina (no longer with the added ‘and the Diamonds’) from 18:50-19:50.
Kylie will have us all Spinning Around headlining the night from 20:50-22:20.
RAINBOW STAGE (at the far North end of the festival) timings:
Alexander Stewart (TBC) from 15:45- 16:15, followed by ADMT from 16:55- 17:25 and then Tom Rasmussen from 18:10-18:55.
BIRDCAGE STAGE (next to the main South Entrance) timings:
Grace Gachot from 14:45-15:15, Say Now from 15:45-16:15, Fred Roberts from 16:55-17:25 and finally Blusher from 18:10-18:40.
New AMEX Experience open to the public:
The main American Express enclosure requires a separate ticket as usual, but this year AMEX also offers all festival-goers a train-inspired journey through unexpected moments as they manifest the ultimate festival experience.
American Express has teamed up with manifestation and affirmation expert Giselle La Pompe-Moore, to offer a range of ‘festival personas’ that festival-goers can choose at the festival to create a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
On the ground floor, there are five stations, each offering a different experience – from a bustling night market, to epic photo opportunities against iconic music backdrops, a bar offering exclusive elixir cocktails, and the chance to win prizes
On top of this, an exclusive Mezzanine level “Daydream City,” is open for Cardmembers only and up to three guests, with further photo opportunities, foam-fuelled cocktails, and a great view of the stage.
CAN YOU BRING IN SEATS? No. Not even folding ones, anything inflatable or those clever ones you stick in the ground.
WHAT ABOUT UMBRELLAS? The weather looks better than last weekend, but if you do want a brolly, you can not bring in large or golf umbrellas, or parasols.
ARE BAGS ALLOWED? Yes but only small ones – no bigger than 29 x 21 x 21cm. That’s around the size of a piece of A4 paper.
ARE FOOD AND DRINK ALLOWED? NO. Only sealed bottles of water up to 500ml or baby food in plastic containers. You can also bring an empty water bottle which can be refilled at stations around the festival grounds.
IS RE-ENTRY ALLOWED? No. If you leave you can not come back in.
NEAREST TUBE: Hyde Park Corner, but you can also use Marble Arch and enter BST through the North Entrance.
