Amazon Prime Day has arrived and for gamers looking for a new wireless headset, you might be in luck. That’s because you can get the Steelseries Arctis Nova Pro is currently £237 – the cheapest price we’ve seen.
For a price like this, it might be worth jumping on if you have been holding out on a great pair of gaming headphones at a rare price drop. The Steelseries Arctis Nova Pro also received four out of five stars in our review.
It has everything you could want in a good gaming headset – great comfort, sound, a good microphone as well as an expansive software option so you can customise everything to your liking. The headset comes with a base station with a spare battery that charges within the station and is then easily swapped in and out of the headset.
It is super convenient and we believe that every single headset should consider something like this so you’re never not without wireless power.
Sound is something that the Arctis Pro Wireless does very well especially considering it has much smaller earcups compared to some competitors. It can even be improved with the Steelseries GG app which allows you to customise the sound depending on the game or scenario.
We were impressed with how well it performed but got slightly annoyed at how it messed up our Windows sound configuration. One of our biggest gripes was the cost.
At £300ish for the headset, it makes it one of the most expensive devices we’ve tested – but thanks to this price drop at Amazon, you can get it for less.
If you want an alternative, we suggest the Audeze Maxwell which we also reviewed. It’s a bit more expensive at £319 but received five stars in our review. If you wish to shop elsewhere, Amazon is not the only retailer trying to tempt shoppers to part with their money at the moment both Currys and John Lewis are also currently running summer sales.
