If you’ve been eyeing up a new Samsung Galaxy phone then it could be a good time to take the plunge. The Android firm is offering at least £150 cashback when you buy any of its latest smartphones, while one in three customers will get a cashback boost and receive double that amount with £300 straight back into their bank accounts.
Samsung is a major partner of the Olympics Games in Paris this year, so to celebrate it appears to be offering this discount offer for the duration of the event – the offer ends on 13 August.
Whether you fancy picking up the Galaxy S24 or the bendy Z Fold 6, it’ll certainly help getting at least £150 off no questions asked. All you have to do is make your purchase from Samsung’s official UK website and then log your proof of purchase within 30 days.

You’ll then receive a validation email once your claim has been reviewed by Samsung. The firm says you’ll then get your cashback paid directly into your bank account within 45 days of the validated claim.
This will be at least £150 but one in three claims will get £300 cashback. While not guaranteed, a one in three chance is quite good odds, and would certainly be welcome if you’re buying a £799 Galaxy S24, as it would go down to £499. That is the cheapest device on offer here from Samsung though, right up to the Z Fold 6 that costs at least £1,799. Have a think about whether you actually want or need a new phone before buying, even if you are definitely able to get £150 back.
The full list of devices included in this cashback offer are: Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, Galaxy S24 Ultra, Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6. These are all of Samsung’s latest flagship devices, and buying from Samsung.com lets you choose some exclusive colours you can’t buy anywhere else.
Remember to always shop around before making a big purchase like this, though. If you can’t afford to buy a new phone upfront you can opt for a contract that splits the cost over several months. Make sure you can afford the monthly payment, and double check the length of the contract you’re signing up to – we think 24 months is best, but be careful as some companies default to 36. Work out how much you’ll pay overall to see if it’s a good deal.
For example, Mobiles.co.uk currently has the Galaxy S24 for £27.99 per month on a 24 month contract and a £29 upfront cost. That amounts to £700.76 over two years, which is only £50 more than the £649 cost of the phone you’re guaranteed with £150 cashback. This contract gets you 100GB monthly data and unlimited calls and texts on the iD mobile network.
This option might suit you better financially as it’s very good value, particularly with 100GB data. If you buy the phone upfront from Samsung instead to get the cashback, just remember you also need to buy and pay for a plan from a mobile provider.
