If you have a Samsung TV sat proudly in the corner of your living room then it’s worth checking out a new offer that will boost what’s available to watch. The Korean technology giant has just confirmed that, for a very limited time, it’s offering telly owners the chance to grab three months of Apple TV+ access without paying a penny for the privilege.
This popular streaming service, which is similar to Netflix, Prime Video and Disney+, offers access to a swathe of exclusive movies, comedy series, dramas and boxsets that can’t be viewed anywhere else.
Things available right now include Ted Lasso, Presumed Innocent, Lady in the Lake, The Morning Show, Coda, Bad Sisters, Killers of the Flower Moon and Napoleon.
There’s also the hotly anticipated release of The Instigators starring Matt Damon and Casey Affleck which airs later this week.
Apple TV+ usually costs £8.99 per month but Samsung has confirmed – via an email sent to customers this week – that it’s offering free access for the next three months.
“Get 3 months of Apple TV+ free,” Samsung said in the message. “Watch star-studded Apple Originals including award-winning series, and films, and more.”
If that sounds enticing then it should be pretty easy to sign up. Just open the Apple TV app directly on your Samsung TV and tap to redeem the offer.
The only things to be aware of is that you must join before September 2 and the deal is for new subscribers to Apple TV+.
You’ll also need a TV that launched after 2017 and you will be charged once the initial period ends although you can cancel at any time.
If those T&Cs haven’t put you off then it could be a good freebie to help entertain you during the summer break.
