Some of the most bizarre places to live in the world may not be totally out of reach as there are many extraordinary homes currently for sale.
Rightmove, the UK’s most popular property website, have now released what their most viewed homes were in July.
However, it seems not everyone wishes to live in a mansion as the most popular home this summer was a medieval castle in the Italian countryside, but the rest of the properties were located inside the UK.
Tim Bannister, a property expert from Rightmove, said: “As the summer holidays come around, our most-viewed home this month is a castle in the hills of Italy.
“From historical estates to a remote Scottish island, it’s clear to see why these properties have caught the eye of home hunters this summer.”
Medieval castle in Italy – €790,000 (£678,675)
Valdengo Castle is a historic castle located on the hills of Biella, Italy and is as the most viewed property on Rightmove this July.
This elegant castle dates back to the Middle Ages and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside and is only two hours away from both France and Switzerland.
There are a total of 45 rooms in Valdengo Castle with 29 bedrooms and six bathrooms that also come with historic furnishings.
However, this beautiful castle needs to be renovated and modernised to be lived in as both the room and some floors need to be completely redone.
