We are into the final few days 2024 Paris Olympics, but there are still plenty of medal hopes left for Team GB. Leah Crisp is already underway this morning in the 10km open-water swim in the River Seine, the event going ahead despite further concerns over the water.

Katarina Johnson-Thompson gets her heptathlon medal bid underway today, and more track and field drama is guaranteed in the men’s 200m, women’s 400m and men’s 110m hurdles.

Team GB currently lie fifth in the medal table with an overall total of 49, with 12 of them being Gold. Matthew Hudson-Smith’s silver in the 400m last night took the British total to 1000 medals since the Summer Games began in 1896.
