One of the best video games of all time is now 63% off on Steam | Gaming | Entertainment

If you’re looking to pick up one of the greatest games ever made at a massively discounted price, then this is your lucky week. The incredible Grand Theft Auto 5 is currently on sale over on Steam, where it’s available for less than £15. Representing a saving of 63%, the GTA 5 Premium Edition is priced at just £14.98 for a limited time, so you better hurry if you want to take advantage of this fantastic deal. It’s also worth pointing out that GTA 5 is playable on Steam Deck, which means you can get your Grand Theft Auto fix on the go. The Premium Edition contains the base game and GTA Online, plus The Criminal Enterprise Starter Pack, which is described by developer Rockstar Games as the “fastest way for new GTA Online players to jumpstart their criminal empires”. In addition to a selection of in-game items and content, The Criminal Enterprise Starter Pack gives users an additional $1,000,000 bonus cash to spend in GTA Online.

If you really want to get ahead in GTA Online, then other editions will give you even more bonus content.

Priced at £17.92, the Premium Edition and Whale Shark Card Bundle contains the aforementioned content, as well as a Whale Shark Cash Card worth $4,250,000 of in-game currency.

With a Metacritic score of 97% and sales of more than 200 million units, it’s fair to say that GTA 5 is a commercial and critical phenomenon.

For the first time in GTA history, the game lets you switch between three playable characters, all within the huge open-world of Los Santos and Blaine County.

Once you finish the entertaining story campaign, GTA Online lets you enjoy the fictional city with friends and strangers as part of the hugely popular online multiplayer experience.

GTA Online features a boatload of activities and missions to complete, from racing cars, capturing criminals and playing sports, to executing heists and building a criminal empire.

Despite launching all the way back in 2013, GTA Online continues to receive new content and major updates, and continues to attract huge numbers of players.

There’s certainly enough here to keep fans busy until the launch of Grand Theft Auto 6, which is pencilled in for an autumn 2025 release date.

Of course, a hugely ambitious game like GTA 6 could easily suffer a delay or two, so don’t be surprised if Rockstar Games and parent company Take-Two pushes Grand Theft Auto 6 back to 2026.

Grand Theft Auto 6 takes place in the state of Leonida, which is based on Florida.

Rockstar explains: “Grand Theft Auto VI heads to the state of Leonida, home to the neon-soaked streets of Vice City and beyond in the biggest, most immersive evolution of the Grand Theft Auto series yet.”

The trailer gives fans a look some of the map locations as seen from the skies above. This includes locations based on the Florida Keys, as well as the beach and more.

Hopefully we’ll get a better look at the locations, as well as some gameplay in the next GTA 6 trailer, which is rumoured to drop on October 4.
