In recent years K-pop has transformed into a global cultural phenomenon and it seems that Princess Eugenie is a fan of the Korean music.
The princess, 34, made a surprise appearance in Korea on Monday night where she was spotted at a K-pop concert featuring artist G-Dragon at the Chanel Culture Fund Frieze Seoul 2024 at Leeum Museum of Art.
Eugenie, who was likely invited to the event in her capacity as an art director for Hauser & Wirth, was spotted filming G-Dragon on her Apple iPhone in a clip shared on Instagram.
She dazzled in a sleeveless ‘Gradient Midi Dress’ by London-based designer Peter Pilotto, while keeping her makeup and hair simple for the occasion, opting for loose curls and a warm-toned smokey eye.
Eugenie made the revelation when appearing on the Table Manners podcast, saying she did the performance at the party of a friend whose dad liked karaoke so much he had hired a singing teacher to lead the group through the evening.
The princess admitted, initially, that she had not “drunk enough” when her turn came around so had a tequila before launching into Eminem’s Lose Yourself.
She told the podcast: “I hadn’t drunk enough so I was hiding in the corner and then the tequila hit and I was like now is my moment.”
