Zara and Mike Tindall track daughter using Apple AirTag at busy event | Royal | News

Children in the Royal Family can be just like any other and can often be seen playing around, not listening to their parents and being mischievous at times.

However, one Royal couple seem to have found a way to curb this as pictures emerged over the weekend of one royal child wearing an Apple AirTag attached to their clothing.

On Saturday, Mike Tindall took his and wife Zara Tindalls three children – Mia, Lena and Luca – to watch Zara compete at the Burghley Horse Trials in Lincolnshire.

While walking along with his three children, eagle-eyed fans were quick to notice the tracking tag on Mia’s outfit, making it clear that the couple are taking no risks when it comes to their children darting off in public.

The gadgets, which launched in 2021, were originally designed to help owners keep track of valuables such as phones, keys and bags, but parents are beginning to use the devices to make sure they know where their children are, especially if they are too young to own phones.

During the day out, Mia – who according to The Telegraph has often been photographed tearing around at equestrian events – seemed to be the only one of the three children to have a tag on, despite being one of the best behaved that day.

In photos taken from the event, Mia’s younger siblings, Lena, six, and Lucas, three, could be seen larking around in the grass before their dad was forced to step in to break up a play fight between the pair.

Later on, Lucas was seen climbing on uncle Peter Phillips back before enjoying an ice cream at the event, will takes place every year.

Zara, an Olympic medalist, was competing in the cross country section on her horse Class Affair.

According to The Telegraph, she took a fall on the course but was not hurt.
