Most of us rely on a home broadband connection everyday, but our internet services can be both unreliable and expensive. If you are looking to switch providers – or sign up to broadband for the first time – it’s worth shopping around to find the best deals possible. We’ve just spotted an eye-catching offer from BT that could be worth your time as it’s offering three months broadband completely free, which will see you pay nothing until around Christmas 2024.
If you sign up to one of several select new BT broadband packages this month you’ll be able to get the first three months of service completely free, saving you at least £32.99 per month. Overall that would amount to at least a £98.97 saving, which will prove handy to have in the run up to Christmas when British minds turn to present buying and rising energy bills.
Not all broadband deals are available to everyone nationwide. That’s because different internet service providers (ISPs) serve different parts of the country and some addresses are limited as to the speeds they can receive.

The three month free deal seems to be on BT’s Fibre 1, Fibre Essential, Full Fibre 1, Full Fibre 100 and Full Fibre 500 packages, the latter of which will max out at £39.99 per month from the fourth month. All the deals include free postage and packaging of your new router and equipment and there are no hidden upfront costs. All of the offers are part of 24 month contracts, so even though you’ll get the first three months free, bear in mind you’re contracted for two years.
Also worth nothing is that all of the packages are subject to annual price rises in March. This is in line with many competing broadband companies who put prices up annually. While this BT offer is a good way to save about £100, you would do well to check other providers available in your area to see if you can pay less for a similar service.
You might also find that other providers can offer you better internet speeds than BT.
