Morrisons has launched a new initiative in a move to help customers save money and combat the winter chill.

The supermarket giant has rolled out an offer of unlimited free refills throughout the year in its cafes all over the nation.

Its latest “Winter Refills Allowance” will provide free unlimited refills on all self-serve hot beverages in its cafes nationwide.

The selection includes teas, hot chocolates and coffees such lattes as cappuccinos, all part of an effort to keep patrons warm without stretching their budgets.

Beginning at the bargain price of just £1.85, customers can enjoy a range of hot drinks to ward off the cold.

For dessert lovers, coupling a warming beverage with a slice of Victoria Sponge or a Sicilian Lemon Muffin is priced at just £4.

Known for their cost-effective dining options, Morrisons Cafes offer meals suitable from morning until night, such as a breakfast sandwich and hot drink combo for only £4.25, or the adult sandwich meal deal at £6.50.

Families are not left out in the cold either; with any adult meal of £5 or more, children under 16 eat for free every day at Morrisons Cafes a welcoming gesture heralded by customers nationwide, as reported by reports Lancs Live.

Morrisons Cafe Buyer, Becky Wilson, remarked: “We are always looking for ways to give our customers more reasons to visit our Cafes and the Winter Refills Allowance does just that.
