The food item contains wheat (gluten) which is not mentioned on the label.
This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with coeliac disease and/or an allergy or intolerance to wheat or gluten.
Anyone who has purchased this product recently is urged not to eat the food item.
Instead, customers should return it to their nearest Aldi store for a full refund.

In other food recall news, Asda is recalling ASDA Chicken dinners because the product contains barley (gluten), egg and milk, which are not mentioned on the label.
“As a result of a packaging error, some packs contain ASDA Beef Dinners. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with coeliac disease, and/or an allergy or intolerance to barley or gluten and/or egg and/or milk or milk constituents.”
