Prince Louis’s hilarious gesture at huge event leaves some in stitches | Royal | News

Prince Louis seems to have a talent for stealing the limelight during major occasions.

The mischievous miniature Royal, who has become known for his antics and comical facial expressions at important royal events, left fans in fits of laughter thanks to one of his humorous reactions at the 2023 Trooping the Colour, and made sure to make himself known at his grandfather’s birthday.

The Wales family’s appearance at the King’s official birthday celebrations was a delight for Royal enthusiasts. Once again, William and Kate’s youngest son managed to be the centre of attention with his playful behaviour, which included making faces, saluting, and cheekily sticking out his tongue during the formal event.

There was another memorable moment – while travelling in a horse-drawn carriage with his siblings from Buckingham Palace, Louis dramatically reacted to the smell of manure, humorously holding his nose for emphasis.

Later, on the Palace balcony, the young prince continued to amuse as aircraft soared overhead for the stunning flypast. He was spotted covering his ears from the noise before pretending to be a daring pilot in the sky above, reports the Mirror. It’s becoming increasingly evident that whenever the royals appear on the balcony, all eyes are on Louis.

Back in 2022, young Prince Louis melted hearts with his adorable exchange with his great-grandmother, the Queen. Jeremy Freeman, a skilled lip-reader, divulged to the Mirror that during the flypast Prince Louis enquired, “Are the Red Arrows coming? “, and Her Majesty responded optimistically, “I hope so!”

The little prince’s excitement was palpable when the planes finally soared above Buckingham Palace, as he jubilantly exclaimed: “Yes, yes, yes! “eliciting from the Queen: “There it is!” And not stopping there, an impressed Louis remarked: “Oh, Red Arrows… Woah!”

There’s no denying Prince Louis’s admiration for the celebrated RAF aerobatic team he even aspires to emulate them. Participating along with his family in The Big Help Out for the coronation festivities in 2023, the prince emphatically answered a volunteer who queried about a future as a painter, “No, a fighter pilot!”

Prince Louis’s ambition aligns perfectly with his family’s aviation tradition. His father Prince William is renowned for his tenure as a search and rescue pilot post-RAF training, while King Charles has experience flying with the RAF and serving in the Royal Navy. Fourth in line to the throne, Prince Louis may well continue this military legacy, potentially taking to the skies with the RAF.

The BBC’s former Royal correspondent, Jennie Bond, certainly thinks it’s probable that William and Kate will urge their youngest child to “explore life” beyond the Royal Family. She speculated: “I imagine they will encourage Louis to explore life outside the Royal fold… it could be the military, but it could also be working in the charity world or whatever he finds appealing after his education is finished.

“I’m sure they will encourage him to go to University, which they both enjoyed and where, of course, they found love. And from there they will want him to find a life that is meaningful to him as well as appropriate for the son of a future King.”
