Fresh off the back of the launch of the Disney Villains skins, Fortnite developer Epic Games is getting ready to unleash another big crossover character.

Confirming earlier leaks and rumours, Epic Games has unveiled the Spider-Woman Jessica Drew skin for Fortnite.

The fan-favourite Marvel character has been given an October 20 release date, where she will be available alongside a number of different items.

UK fans will be able to purchase the Spider-Woman skin when the Item Shop refreshes at 1am BST UK time on October 21, which is 8pm EDT on October 20 in the US.

The imminent Marvel crossover will include the Spider-Woman skin itself, as well as a Harvesting Tool, Back-Bling, Wrap and Keytar.

The standalone Spider-Woman Skin – which also includes a LEGO variant and Back-Bling – will cost 1,500 V-Bucks.

The Venomous Blade Pickaxe will be available for 800 V-Bucks, the Spider-Woman Classic Wrap will be sold for 500 V-Bucks and the Keytar for 1,000 V-bucks.

Alternatively, fans can purchase the entire set as part of a Spider-Woman bundle costing 2,500 V-Bucks.

It’s unclear how long the items will be available to purchase, so you’d better hurry to avoid missing out.

The latest Fortnite item shop update launches as part of the Fortnitemares Halloween event, which is running for the next few weeks.

This year’s Fortnitemares includes new cosmetics and rewards, as well as map changes and the introduction of new weapons.

Fans can unlock the rewards by completing challenges for the duration of the Fortnitemares event. You’ll receive The Fangler Bass for completing one quest, the Horde’s War Wheel Back Bling for three quest, the Jack-o’-Drifter Contrail for seven quests and The Great Scarecrow Glider for 11 quests.

There are also a series of Jigsaw challenges based on the Saw movies. If you see a monitor with Billy the Puppet, you can approach it to start the challenge.

Two players will be forced wear explosive Billy-inspired bear masks, which will explode when time runs out. You need to eliminate your target before this happens. You’ll receive special loot for successfully completing the challenge.
